Standard and Advanced editions
Autonomous Test Management comes in two editions on the Atlassian Marketplace. Standard covers everything you need to design, plan, run and report on tests with AI. Advanced has everything in Standard, plus AI release insights, governance and a larger monthly AI allowance.
Prices for both editions are on the pricing page and the app’s Marketplace listing.

In these docs, sections about Advanced-only features start with an Advanced edition note.
Advanced features on a Standard site
Section titled “Advanced features on a Standard site”Advanced features are not hidden on a Standard site, so your team can see what they would get:
- The Insights tab has an Advanced badge. It opens as a read-only preview with sample data and a banner that explains it. Your own project’s insights appear after upgrading.
- Buttons for Advanced features, such as Triage failures, Suggest rows with AI and Request review, show an Advanced label and the tooltip Available on the Advanced edition.
- If you ask the AI assistant for something that needs an Advanced feature, such as find duplicate test cases, it says which request needs the Advanced edition instead of running it.
- The AssertThat test report macro in Confluence shows an upgrade message instead of the report.
Everything else in the app works the same in both editions.
Try Advanced features
Section titled “Try Advanced features”Free trials include every Advanced feature. Install the app from the Marketplace and start a trial to try release readiness, failure triage, the review workflow and the rest on your own projects.
To move to Advanced on a paid subscription, a site or billing admin changes the app’s edition where your Atlassian apps are managed. The change applies to the whole site straight away, including the larger AI allowance. Moving back to Standard keeps your data: Advanced-only views and actions are locked again, but nothing is deleted.
Quick check of the Advanced features
Section titled “Quick check of the Advanced features”On a trial or Advanced site, this sequence shows each Advanced feature in a few minutes. It uses a project with a few Jira stories in a fix version and some test cases.
- Open Insights, choose the fix version and read the release verdict in Overview.
- In Release readiness, filter to Gaps and click Generate tests for gaps. Accept a proposal.
- In Regression risk, choose the fix version and click Create regression execution for the top cases.
- In Duplicates, click Find duplicates, then Confirm with AI.
- Run the regression execution and fail a couple of cases, then open Triage failures in the execution. Quarantine a flaky case from the triage panel or Insights › Flaky & quarantine.
- Open a test case with a dataset and click Suggest rows with AI.
- Turn on the review workflow, then use Request review on a test case and approve it as another user.
- Ask the AI assistant Who executed the most tests last week? to see natural-language analytics.
- In Confluence, insert the AssertThat test report macro and choose a report.
